SKL International becomes SALAR International

The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions changed its official Swedish name based on organisational changes of the Swedish Regions. SKL therefore adopted SKR as its new acronym in Swedish.

The name change was implemented at SKR (Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner) some time ago and a name change was therefore motivated also for SKL International.

The board of SKL International has decided to adopt SALAR International. This to pinpoint the international aspects of the work by using the English abbreviation (Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions) and to align with all of SALARs international engagements.

An updated logotype is being developed and information to partners and donors is upcoming.

Apart from the name change and the updated logotype, the engagement continues as before.
