Over the past years, EU–Ukraine municipal partnerships have become much more than formal agreements. They have helped communities respond to crises, exchange expertise, support recovery efforts, strengthen local democracy, and build lasting people-to-people connections across Europe. The Bridges of Trust Partnerships Award celebrates these achievements and highlights the value of international municipal cooperation.
Whether your partnership is long-established or relatively new, we encourage you to share your story and the impact you have created together.

SALAR International enables Sweden-Ukraine municipal partnerships through the Cities4Cities initiative, which is part of the "International Municipal Cooperation" sphere of the Swedish-Ukrainian Polaris Programme "Supporting Multilevel Governance in Ukraine" (2024-2028).
