The refugee crisis is a complex and ongoing issue that has affected millions of people worldwide. In an effort to shed light on this pressing matter in Türkiye, journalist Bitte Hammargren and photographer Stefan Bladh have collaborated on a book titled "Never-Ending Drama: Turkey at 100".

Previous to the book, SALAR International partnered with Hammargren and Bladh to produce several reports on the refugee crisis. These reports offer valuable insights and information, captured through the lens of the skilled team of Hammargren and Bladh.
Syrians in Turkey – voices beyond politics
As part of the report on the status of Syrian refugees in Türkiye, independent journalist Bitte Hammargren and photographer Stephan Bladh collected personal accounts from the life of three Syrian refugees which resulted in videos.
The three portraits provide a voice to people who are striving to maintain their livelihoods beyond the realms of international and national politics.
