Call for Applications: Teachers for Educational Programme in North Macedonia
Teachers in Pelagonija and South-west regions in North Macedonia are invited to join the Educational Programme and gain up-to-date knowledge and practical tools on waste management and sustainability. Apply now to bring hands-on environmental learning to your classroom and inspire your students to take action for a greener future.
The project “Sustainable municipal waste management services”, financed by Sida and implemented by SALAR International aims at improving waste management practices in selected municipalities in North Macedonia. Through a set of activities, the project puts an emphasis on the importance of targeted educational and public awareness activities that are necessary to achieve transformational change in waste management. The educational programme, now expanded to all the municipalities in Pelagonija and South-west regions, will help the elementary school teachers to gain substantial and contemporary knowledge on topics of waste management and sustainability that can be continuously transferred to their students. The training offers holistic overview of pressing environmental topics and will provide the teachers with theoretical knowledge and didactical materials for running practical exercises.
