Request for Proposals: Local Project Coordinator for project in Georgia

SALAR International is searching for a Local Project Coordinator for the project “Cooperation for Development – Support to Decentralisation and Sustainable Local Development in Georgia (C4D)”. The Local Project Coordinator will support the processes in Georgia with financial, administrative and logistical support, and the position requires being based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Project Coordinator is expected to report to the Team Leader and Project Manager from SALAR International and be in close contact with the team of experts engaged in the project. The implementation of the project will be carried out together with the institutional support functions of SALAR International based in Sweden for administrative, financial and quality assurance purposes. The Local Project Coordinator will support the processes in Georgia with financial, administrative and logistical support.

The position requires a high level of self-leadership, coordination and problem solving skills and an ability to work in a multicultural environment, as well as strong social and networking skills. The position also require fluency in Georgian and English.

Location and duration

The position is a 24 months full time position, with possibility of extension. The position requires physical presence in the project office in Tbilisi, Georgia. International and local travel on specific occasions may be required.
