Request for Proposals: Translators for Project in Moldova

SALAR International is searching for translators in Moldova, to establish a roster of part-time translators to provide interpretation and translation services for activities under the Local Public Administration, Citizen Engagement (PACE Local) project in Moldova.

The purpose is to select three to four professional translators, available on a part-time basis, to provide simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation in Romanian–English–Romanian, English–Romanian–English, Russian–English–Russian, and English–Russian–English during technical meetings and discussions, as well as simultaneous interpretation for events, workshops, and public consultations. The assignment also includes on-site interpretation and language support during local and international field visits, and written translation of technical, administrative, and communication documents.

Location and Duration

The translator role is a part-time, on-call contract with a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The workload will vary depending on the project calendar and includes local travel across Moldova, with potential international travel.
