Waste Management Educational Programme - Third Call
The project “Sustainable municipal waste management services”, financed by Sweden and implemented by SALAR International aims at improving waste management practices in selected municipalities in North Macedonia. Through a set of activities, the project puts an emphasis on the importance of targeted educational and public awareness activities that are necessary to achieve transformational change in waste management.
The educational programme, now expanded to all the municipalities in Pelagonija and South-west regions, will help the elementary school teachers to gain substantial and contemporary knowledge on topics of waste management and sustainability that can be continuously transferred to their students. The training offers holistic overview of pressing environmental topics and will provide the teachers with theoretical knowledge and didactical materials for running practical exercises.
