On behalf of Swedish Association of Local authorities and Regions, Bitte Hammargren (freelance writer and Turkey analyst attached to the Foreign Policy Institute) and photographer Stefan Bladh have traveled in Turkey in the spring of 2022, conducted interviews, written a number of personal portraits, and photographed to give the people beyond Turkish and international politics, a face and a voice.
The report has been developed as part of the Resilience in Local Governance (RESLOG) project, funded by the Swedish Government and managed by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR).
