Join SALAR International’s Expert Roster for Sustainable Urban Development, Resilient Cities and Sustainable Transportation
SALAR International is expanding its network of professionals in urban development, sustainable transport, climate resilience, energy transition, municipal waste management, and local governance — including a dedicated Sustainable Transport and Governance Expert Roster.
We are looking for experienced experts and practitioners who are passionate about shaping inclusive, climate-smart, and resilient cities and communities around the world.
Expertise areas
If you have expertise in one or more of the following areas, we’d be happy to hear from you:
- Integrated urban planning and sustainable city development
- Climate adaptation, resilience building, and green infrastructure
- Sustainable mobility and transport systems (public transport, EVs, active mobility)
- Energy transition and renewable energy in urban contexts
- Waste management and circular economy approaches
- Data-driven urban management, smart cities, and local innovation
- Local governance and institutional strengthening in urban contexts
Who we’re looking for
- Professionals with at least 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Backgrounds in urban planning, climate, energy, or sustainable mobility
- Experience working with municipalities, national institutions, or international partners
- Swedish municipal experts and practitioners are warmly encouraged to apply – international experience is an asset but not required for all assignments
- Excellent command of English (other languages such as French, Arabic or Spanish are an advantage)
