Nathan Teitgen serves as Deputy Project Manager for the WM4U - Waste Management for Ukraine project, and the Sustainable Municipal Waste Management Services project in North Macedonia. He holds a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Lund University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Paris 8 University.
Nathan has over six years of experience in international development cooperation and public administration reform, as well as ten years of experience supporting and strengthening CSOs in developing countries. Before joining SALAR International, Nathan worked as a Project Manager for a private consulting firm specialising in international development cooperation, where he also led the thematic unit on Good Governance. In this role, he managed numerous projects funded by the EU and Sida. His work spanned multiple countries, including Kosovo, Türkiye, Somalia, and Ethiopia, where he managed project teams.
Earlier in his career, Nathan served as a Grants Manager for organisations dedicated to supporting CSOs and human rights activists across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. His extensive background in project management, governance, and capacity building equips him with the skills to drive impactful and sustainable development initiatives.
