Pontus Förberg is Project Manager for SALAR International’s project "Waste Management for Ukraine". He holds a bachelor’s degree in international economy and Russian from the University of Uppsala.

Pontus has 30 years of experience in the field of international development and has managed numerous projects in Eastern Europe and in Western Balkans. Having started his career with Sida, and worked for development consulting companies for more than 20 years, he has gained thorough insights in various fields of international development such as Public Administration Reform, Local Self Government, Public Finance Management and Civil Society support. Pontus has vast experience from collaborating with donors like Sida, EU, Danida and the World Bank.
