Shane Quinn

Shane Quinn is Team Leader for SALAR Internationals project in Moldova, where he is currently stationated. He is a senior expert with over 20 years of experience working in development cooperation, academia and humanitarian policy. He has a multi-disciplinary background and holds a Masters in Peace and Conflict studies from Uppsala University in Sweden as well as a Masters in History from the National University of Ireland.

Shane has a broad remit and has designed and led programmes in the field of rule of law and conflict prevention in transition and conflict-affected countries including Lebanon, Ukraine, Syria, Somalia and DR Congo. He has previously led the Swedish government participation in the Public Administration Panel in the Eastern Partnership Platform on Good Governance, Democracy and Stability and more recently has built up extensive experience in leading policy dialogue on issues related to the HDP Nexus and resilience programming in fragile contexts. His publications include Responsive and Responsible: Politically Smart Rule of Law Reform in Conflict and Fragile States (2016), and Civil Society and Peacebuilding: a Critical Assessment (2010).
